I have a WB 50.3 that is heavily loaded with rocks and mainly frags. I’m trying not to dose anything for the big hair algae problem and the cuc is holding strong but starting to lack the ability to keep it clean. I have two turbos in the tank now. How many more can I add?

You could definitely add a couple more. Since you have enough food perhaps a few more. I would add a tuxedo urchin if you haven’t already and also trochus snails. If it’s real bad you can look into a sea hare as well, good luck, you’ll make it to the other side just like we all have.

I have around four Trochus snails, four margarita, Tomini Tang, a lawnmower Blenny and the two turbos. I just added four more turbos yesterday and not sure if I see any improvement over night. Going to give it a few more days to see if anything changes.

And you can also reach in there and remove some to help them out..
I’ve done that, brushed the rocks and swapped filter socks. Could the filtration choices help? I have ceramic stones, socks, sponges, polishing pad and just added a Sicce Protein skimmer.
