Hey so I received a shipment of snails today. They shipped Monday and arrived today. I noticed one of the bags containing a Mexican turbo snail seemed a little yellow. I placed him in the tank. After about 10
Minutes a nassarius snail approached him and puffs of “smoke” started coming from him. I reached in to move him and when I did brown mucus like stuff started spewing out of the snail. Any idea what’s going on? Is it dead?

It’s probably dead and dissolving. You should remove them to prevent further ammonia spikes. Or, move them to a smaller tank to monitor if they are alive.
