mh and t5 retro question

I am going to do a mh and t5 retro for my 20 long. I was looking at a kit on aquacave, but I don't need the reflectors, so I am buying everything separately. The kits says it comes with 8ft. of 18g paired wire. I can't find this on the site. Is it necessary for the build?

Yes you will need the wire for the T5's, just go to the Home Depot or similar and buy some there.
