Mh light on eBay any imput?

I found this lh light on eBay. New 4 t5 with 2 250w halide bulbs anybody have one like it??
It would be upgrading my 6 bulb t5 on a 110 with sps in it. And the 6 bulb fixture would go on a new tank build I'm doing.

Change out the bulbs on the MH and T5 and you should be good to go

I ran that fixture for about 1-1.5 years over my tank and had decent results when I swapped out the bulbs (14.5k Phoenix 250w and ATI Blue+ (3) and a Coral +). The colors looked fine, but I had issues with the light getting all the way to the sandbed (36" deep tank), so some of the corals there suffered. Its not on par with the more expensive fixtures, and the LEDs/Fans are junk (but easily replaced for a couple $$ once they die) - but its a good "starter" fixture. MH bulbs are a pain to change if you have large hands, as the LED and MH sections have to be slid out in order to access the bulbs.

^^This. I prefer the 20k radiums for optimal growth, but paying $150-160 per year for new MH lamps sucks.

Alright what ati bulbs should i put in the light I have 3 blue plus 2 coral plus and 1 purple plus

Well I ran 2 blue plus 1 coral plus 1 purple plus. I love the look of this fixture. It's super bright. I am acclimating corals to it untill I gave 6 hr photo period. First week will be 30 mins for the hay lights. week 2 will be 1 hr week 3 will be 2 hrs. So on so forth. Does that sound like a good plan?
