Yes it absolutely can. Your introducing more bacteria into your system. This can cause almost a mini cycle so to speak as well test often when dosing bacter7. What is it you were trying to correct like stated above?

yes, any bacterial product can cause a bloom.

be careful to adhere to the dosing instructions on the bottle

Run a UV to deal with a bloom.
