So I noice I have a lot of debris on my rock and in my sump and over flow I used a turkey baster and blew the rocks and such off but it always comes back what can I add to my sump or tank to help keep it cleaner

I’m confused. Are you seeing micro bubbles or particles? Micro bubbles are usually a result from the skimmer, especially when first breaking in. Particles in the water are more often a need for better mechanical filtration, filter socks, floss, sponges, to trap the particles.

Not sure what I see I believe it’s particles if skimmer is off I still see them my sump limits me to what I can really use to filter the water sadly

It looks like you are using filter socks. Are they made of a thin mesh material or heavy felt material. Also how often do you change them out?

They like very thin I can see thru them just about I clean them every 3 days once they bad enough i swap

I’m not sure if this is the issue, but you may want to try switching out your mesh filter socks with 200 micron felt filter socks. Most people use those over the mesh ones because they capture a lot more particle than the mesh will. They will clog a lot faster, though, so you may need to change them out every day or two until the particles clear up, and then twice a week.
I’m not sure if this will fix it, but it’s a place to start.

Yeah, I’ll have to try that. I noticed there’s a lot of debris in my sump. I cleaned it all out a couple days ago and it’s all back so maybe they’re not picking it up.
