Hello,

I have a waterbox 220.6 and a regal int 200 skimmer. Beautiful tank but it has started to irritate my coral and makes the tank look very cloudy.

It’s been 6 months of the skimmer running, and I still have micro bubbles in the display. Picture of sump attached.

yes I do have the skimmer at the water levels recommended by manufacturer. Currently sitting at 8.1” of water.
Yes I do run the water level in the skimmer right below the neck line of the collection cup.

yes I use filter socks.
Yes I replace them weekly when they begin to overflow.

I know it is the skimmer because when I turn it off the micro bubbles are gone within 45 minutes.

do I need a better sponge in the second baffle? Not sure if someone can link me to one. I’ve done hours of research on this and I can’t find an answer.

I thought it was my gyres and I switched the blades but still nothing.. i give up, other than trying a heavy duty sponge for the baffle that leads to return pump
