What are you reading that “ suggests “ Carbon dosing ?
Microbe implies bacteria.
Carbon dosing adds a carbon source, vodka, vinegar or other. The carbon source is consumed by bacteria with nitrate and phosphate. The bacteria multiply and are removed via protien skimmer.
Carbon dosing is a known method of reducing nutrients.
The product might contain bacteria and/or a carbon source.
Just a guess.

They also mention polymer, so maybe more like tropic marin bacto balance. Which uses a 'biopolymer' as a carbon source.

I just cannot fathom why any hobbyist would dump unknown chemicals in their tank 🤷‍♂️
I’m pretty sure that company wouldn’t exist if it was selling killer products
If something’s deemed reef safe it should be ok
I mean don’t we put vodka, vinegarr , sugar , lanthium chloride etc etc

Vibrant would like to have a word with you. 😂
Difference with your list is we know the ingredients.
