Sadly the microscope I got has to go back, though I'm pretty confident I have ostreopsis, just can't get pics or video because this thing is incompatible with my iphone.

By my eyeball and videos I've looked at, ostreopsis makes sense, since I've also got a newly bottomed out tank.

Anyway, looking for recommendations for a microscope, thanks!

I put my iphone up to the eyepiece and tap the screen to focus. Just gotta find the right spot if using a traditional type scope. I also used a uv sterilizer to get rid of ostreo.

If you're still looking for a microscope recommendation, this one has a lot of good basic features and is pretty affordable. https://omaxmicroscope.com/products/m82e
Coupon code honey15 gets you 15% off, and free shipping, so it's $161.50 + tax.
You can get inexpensive adapters that will allow you to mount your iphone to one of the eyepieces. Or you can just hold it by hand until you get it to focus.
