Microscope recommendations

Not a scientist and not looking to become one my fish room already looks like a questionable meth lab but I’ve been fascinated lately with pictures and YouTube videos of things in our tanks under microscope looking for something that’s powerful enough to see Everything but not kill the budget I would also like either a display screen or even something that hooks up to a phone/tablet ect…to be able to record or take pictures

If you are truly lookijg for a microscope check out the amscope m150. Are you sure you aren't interested in macroscopic pictures with a macro lens? That's what I think of when thinking about great-looking pictures. I used the microscope to identify and monitor my treatments for dinoflagellates. It is certainly useful but I'm not taking pretty pictures.

Price point isn’t bad at all

Im not really into taking photographer perfect pictures lol I want to take pictures and video to post to the forums yes but mainly I will use it to identify things like bacteria, pests, and stuff like that there has been some questionable things in my coral QT that i would like to get better look at I guess i would be nice to be able to place frags under and see the polyps and structures up close and take pictures too

I am about to downgrade my big scope and just ordered this:



Has exactly the same functionality I need I want, hopefully works reasonably well - in a few days time I will be able to tell you how well it resolves a Kemp diatom test slide.

p.s: I bought the Max version which has xy stage control as well
