Assure moderate light and flow and add iodide and iron at 5-6 drops twice a week and should perk them up. Occasional GENTLE bursts with a turkey baster to remove sediment off of them also helps
I have iodide, would you still add it even though the saltwater is a week old? I tested the nitrate and 0.0 and po4 .031
Lights are good I think and I'm running reef crest mode on the MP10 @50% and they get moderate flow.

Also in your photo you have those green palys I believe. Do you know the name they go by?
These are my small ones and were given to me and they were a struggle 5 months ago but seem happier then ever. They're even opening up more as the day goes on. Anyways on to it.

Nuclear green paly
You can add iodide- just need about 6 drops each time. The zoa and paly convert iodide into iodine

Its Mid year and we have seen many members at the beginning of the year acquire new fish, new coral(s) and even a new tank. By now, you have experienced tank maturity and even growth in both fish and coral.

What changes have you seen since that acquisition?

Tell us and post photos! We'd love to see it !

For me, its been fish and coral. I got this tank in Early December and it's matured quickly with noticeable changes literally monthly.

I love the fact that you have to take two separate photos of each side of tank :grinning-face-with-sweat:

Tank looks so beautiful!

Crappy picture skills here. Side shots are easier for me as I touch the top edge of the phone against the glass by a power head magnet so I’m pretty sure they’re in frame and in focus. The front is tricky as I have no reference point….I just try to get what I can get by centering the light on the phone screen as best I can. Probably not in focus. No before pic either as that’s impossible for me to find. Just coincidence that I tried taking pictures the other day…Siri, screenshot works….Siri, take a picture doesn’t although it does bring up the camera. Still figuring things out with that

I got 2 shots.
The first one is from the 2nd of February.
The second one is from the 5th of July.
From February till now I've lost 1 hammer and 1 torch because of Jelly. Luckily it didn't spread that much to the entire tank. There is no sump, I took out the hob filter after the 1st month and changed the wavemaker. I have only a protein skimmer and weekly water changes.

I see bright color so I can kinda see those on the bottom. The red, green, orange and hot pink are super bright blobs of color. I get a flicker of the super bright purple rim on the mind trick if I put my face up against the glass and the lighting is more on the daylight side but I don’t see the main body of it. I know they’re not for everyone but I’m stoked that I put them in. I can’t see any of the fish except for the yellow tang. I can see the color of some of the sps, but mostly not. None of the lps softies are brightly colored enough for me to see.

Things are doing great so far this year. Actually I'm getting too much growth. I'm having to frag sps and move around acans so they don't sting my favia. I have a gonipora real close to an acan so far no damage hopefully it stays that way. I still have a little bit of red cyano here and there. But my battle with dinos are over so far. I've grown all this coral with 2 part . Red sea 2 part red sea salt red sea doser red sea tank red sea skimmer and echotech lights I'm also dosing captv8 aquaculture trace elements based on ICP results. Same as Keith from reef bum. He has helped me with Chris woods products. Chris wood has been a great help also. I highly recommend. He would be disappointed I'm not using calcwasser yet but I'm just not ready yet.
