Its Mid year and we have seen many members at the beginning of the year acquire new fish, new coral(s) and even a new tank. By now, you have experienced tank maturity and even growth in both fish and coral.

What changes have you seen since that acquisition?

Tell us and post photos! We'd love to see it !

For me, its been fish and coral. I got this tank in Early December and it's matured quickly with noticeable changes literally monthly.

Lost my bubble coral in that time rip! I got a brief case of Dino’s so I started dosing phos and nitrate. Only after a couple of weeks of dosing I noticed the color of most corals got a lot more vibrant. Also installed a uv from green killing machine, and have just left it on 24/7

Join in!! Post a pic and share your progress. There's no ugly tank when it comes to saltwater !
Well my 22 gallon long sprang a leak last month and I upgraded so unfortunately not a lot of progress to show.

That seems like a huge amount of growth. Nice work!

Wow! I wish my tank looked as good as yours vetteguy. My tank has been setup for about 6 months and ive seen very little growth out of my corals if anything.
Some take time. Ive been doing daily water changes (at least try to) which has made part of the difference

daily water changes? Any reason why? I do my normaly 10% weekly with IO Reef crystals but my stuff just doesnt grow at all even after 6 months I have tiny sad frags.

no photos to share but at the start of the year i had zero SW tanks running, as of yesterday i have 3.
40 breeder w/ AIO dropin with softies and a few fish
20L as a QT ( not sure how to cycle it without liverock tho!)
90 FOWLR- with 20l sump- may use as a QT for the first fish added since no corals or inverts will be in the tank.

I need to add equipment tho- UV sterilizer to the 90 and ATO's to both 40 and 90.
i also need to setup my RODI filter and mix station

Yes- It keeps my levels such as nitrate and phos in check and replenishes traces used my coral in which I have many. I also increased flow which made a difference with my SPS
I only spend 8-10 mins a day doing this
