This is a new one for me. Midas blenny is relativity new, but all fish go through prazi and CP qt. Yesterday these things showed up, and he has a bit of pop eye on one side. Today whatever this is, is growing in numbers. No other fish have any signs of this yet.

For lack of a better way to explain it. It looks like he brushed up against a cactus and has the fuzzy needles in his side.

are the needles super fine? It could have brushed up against a bristle worm.

I didn't think about a bristle worm.. Possibly. I fell like he has more today than yesterday, but maybe that's my imagination.

I relocated this tank recently and redid the rocks/sand so I wouldn't think I would have a worm big enough to try and take down a sleeping fish.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
