Hey all,
I got a fully setup 6gal tank with 2 live rocks, 1 clownfish, 1 green bubble tip anemone, and 3 blue leg crabs. I added a fluval cp1 flow pump and a fluval nano marine light and a fluval ac30 hob (just added the old filter stuff into this new hob). The clownfish seems to be doing good but the anemone seems to be on the move alot looks to inflate/deflate daily. I have gotten it to eat a cut up silverside.
The point of this though is... I desperately want to get these guys into a much larger tank. I have a 40gal that I got/cleaned out and loaded with Fiji pink sand and filled with saltwater about a week ago , so no where near cycled. I also have some extra live rock but it is dry. Can I just move the live rock in the 6gal along with the hob and inhabitants to the 40 gal or do I need to really just wait out the cycling and then migrate? Also once the new tank is up and running, if I wanted to add more live rock, what is the best way to do it down the road?
