Starting this a little late, but would like to share the evolution of my build with others who may be interested in some of the same ideas, but lacking certain info. A shout out to @Hulley for many of his ideas such as painting the sump and adding the Clarisea roller along with a few other items. I also grabbed a few plumbing ideas from a Randy who's build thread I'm having difficulty finding right now, but will update to give props once I do. Last but not least, a huge thank you to @Kvinal who helped me with the install and move. Easily one of the most selfless people I have ever met and could not have built this without him. Thank you!

Little background, started this hobby roughly 3 years ago on a 36g bow front tank with a canister filter and in tank Tunze skimmer. Took a strong liking to the hobby quickly and soon after out grew that tank. I traded in the majority of my live stock towards a v3 Reefer 350 and lost a large number of the remaining corals due to stress during the migration. I started the new build with dry rock and dry Tropic Eden sand. A 3 to 1 mix of mesoflakes to miniflakes, and the rock I mixed tonga with some other shelf rock I found at my LFS, glues it all together with Marco Cement (Amazing!). Equipment and livestock list to follow, hope everyone enjoys the build, feel free to chime in with questions, comments, or suggestions for improvement. Take will be SPS dominant once stocked. Thanks for stopping by :)

Final days of the 36g bow before selling off livestock. I really pushed this tank to its limits. Silicone was starting to peduring the finals weeks.

Tearing it down with help from a friend. Set up a temporary holding tub for the fish and livestock. I had planned on moving everything right over including the old rock, but had an infestation of vermatids along with other pests, so the plan changes last minute. This was a very long day...

Changed my mind a few times on the scape which delayed the build a bit. Ended up mixing Tonga and shelf to create some towers and a floating branch. I think it looks good and hope it works out well for acropora. Time will tell.
Marco cement was the only adhesive that worked getting this all to adhere. I wasted a lot of money on other products that just couldn’t cut it.

Congrats! You're gonna love the tank.

I had an RMA on one of the doors, so I cut the old board up to make the controller mount. I just took enough off the edges for L brackets to fit at the top, so about 1/8" off each side.

Plumbing and filter sock removal. Best upgrade I’ve done for the tank. No more noisy drain or drips from the sock assembly! 3D printed the new pipe holders. Can post plumbing list is anyone is interested.

I'm looking to install a ClariSea on my reefer 350 as well. Could you tell me how you plumbed this?

Since I had switched my plumbing over to 1", I was able to glue it directly into the Clarisea elbow. I saw conflicting information on the elbow size, I think Clarisea had previously included a metric elbow, but I can confirm that mine was 1".
