Is that a blue Sponge in your video? If so, where did you get it?

Not since the photos I posted on Jan 12th Rev.
Everything pretty much the same. The tank is still doing great and I will try to get a new video up soon ;)

That was a frag about 1" I got from a local reefer about 2 years ago.

I'm going to keep my eye out for that kind of sponge. Very nice color and growth!

The ATI fixture is a Hybrid with let's but I only run the led's at 30% for a max of 5 hours. The reefbrites are used for dusk & dawn effect a hour in the morning and a hour at night.
T5's are on for 5. 5 hours.
If I had to do it over again I would not get the hybrid I believe the straight T5's is fine.

Awesome as usual.
With soft corals tanks i find the difficulty in the aesthetic aspect insofar as coloration is achieving balance of the always abundant pink/brown and green with another color such as red or purple or even yellow. I've added the yellow with a S. elegans and it breaks up the other colors a little, but your introduction of the LPS red such as the gonioporas is an excellent deviation. Whats the reason/Key for your success with them? they're usually deemed a difficult coral and in nearly 20 years I've never attempted.

I have an ORA red Goni. It has grown from a small frag to a colony in the past 3 years. Only trouble I had is running to much carbon too quickly . Almost lost it then

I need some of that red. Maybe something blue. Hard to find in softies but the LPS route would be the best. Those yellow polyps look good scattered everywhere but I know they can become obtrusive and harmful to corals almost like aiptasia

Love your tank. I have been tossing the idea around of doing a softy tank instead of SPS for the same reasons you mentioned at the beginning of your story. Did I read on here that all your corals came from an LFS? Do you have any online sources for softies? Really a beautiful tank.
