Millepora lost the fight

I have a small piece that fell and landed on top/against a frogspawn, portions are dead, some are fine. Should I remove the healthy branches or just let it be?

Yes lost about half lol, but totally random damage

Well I decided to leave it alone, hasn’t grown much but has gotten thicker and has very nice colors now
