I am about to buy the Milwaukee mw101 Pro pH meter and can't find any posts on it here. Many posts on the mc 120 though. Is there a reason people don't use the mw101? It goes to .oo vs .o for the 120 and is much more accurate, they claim. And it's only $20 more. why is the mc120 so much better represented?

Thanks

I believe the MC 120 has a power adapter which allows users to leave it connected and have a constant display while the MC 101 is battery powered and better for multiple tanks or occasional use. I also don't believe the MC101 has the alarm function built in that the MC120 has.

Never used the 101 but I have used the 120 and I liked it.

Thanks guys. I may stick with the mc 120 as being able to leave the probe in the sump would help me track the pH swing easily at a glance. The main reason I wanted to switch to the mw101 was the accuracy. +/- 0.02 is much better than +/- 0.2, which means pH reading of 8.0 could be anything from 7.8 to 8.2. Am I thinking of that correctly?
