Mingii the pig

This post needs a PSA warning. My tummy got quesy. Just gobble the worm already, don't swim around with it sticking out of your mouth.

🤢

It's like sucking in spaghetti 🤣 I used to cut them up but only the naso and mingii show any real interest. My female CBB loved them but if she wasn't fast enough the naso would steal them.

I think Paul does this occasionally as well after a nice rain.
I do that a few times a week and have been since the 60s. 😆

Found a couple of decent sized earth worms today and tossed them in for the tangs. I figured it would be the two big kids that got them but the naso couldn't hold on.

Gorgeous tank: fish and corals.

I got a similar feeding response using live mussels. Even a mandarin got into a feeding response with a sliver of mussel longer than him.

Do you still feed romaine? I've been tempted to give it a try. Be fun to see how the gang responds to something new. I used to feed it all the time when I kept fresh water. People say it isn't natural because it doesn't grow in the ocean. Wonder if those same people have read the list of ingredients one some of the commercial fish food 🤔

Paul has an article about clams. Ever since I read it I feed clams 1-2 times a week and the fish love it!

Yes ,but only 2x a week, they love broccoli, strawberrys, goldfish pellets etc, gotta mix it up... 😉 🙂

What kind of fish eats strawberries? Also, do you pretreat broccoli to soften it?
Mingi's , yellow fin, strawberry let soften by room temp, broccoli boiled for a few min.
