I need some help with my new mini carpet anemone that is currently getting dripped acclimated. What does everyone feed their carpet anemone, how often and how much do you give it? (mines probably about 2") Also, should I place it on rocks or on the sand bed? (have a fluval led strip that i am planing on upgrading later this year). Any advice would be loved

It should be placed at the bottom but will move until comfortable. You shouldn’t not be feeding it for about 2 weeks, it gives it time to adjust to your tank but feed 1-2x a week. I think your lighting is insufficient for a nem and should be upgraded before things get bad

Definitely get a better light. I can’t imagine that anemone surviving long term under that

Yeah, I'm wokwork on it, just trying to figure out what I want. Was thinking AI but I've been hearing a lot more issues lately

I've always house mini carpet anemone. They're awesome just feed it raw shrimp give it good light he'll find him a place and be beautiful. Just bought one today acclimate him for an hour and he's happy. Had to save him from petco and he's already eating mysis shimp. He's about 1"1/2" big.
