Amazing tank, and even more amazing that they are spawning! Have you seen any of the offspring from this yet?

That is one very impressive tank and mini collection.
You must have bought a couple more since I was over last time.:)

This is one amazing display! I love all the colors you have collected!

Are the anemones actually reproducing from the spawning? Have you tried collecting the eggs and sperm?

What do you feed your maxi-mini's and how often? Any other tips on caring for them? I've just recently started collecting them.

I found one baby buried in the sand and one hanging on the glass but later on they vanished ...as for feeding i give them frequently chopped up shrimp ..however lately i see some bristleworms coming to get it out of their mouths while digesting what gets me worried..they like to be in groups ..not too much flow ..they love to hide in rockwork but like the sandbed too ...

Shes a Mini Hoarder, I'd be happy to volunteer to keep them for the intervention. Awesome minis there. Love love love them too. Where have you gotten most of them from?

That's an amazing collection of maxi minis you have there. Have you ever had any problems with dissapearing fish? Multiple people posted in another thread that they were inexplicably losing fish to them that were otherwise healthy. I've only got one maxi mini in my 180 and haven't lost any fish yet (knock on wood).

I witnessed my "small"'collection spawn last night! I have a 2.5 gallon with 6 in there so far. I noticed my largest (4"across fully expanded), which has been up from and center against the glass since I put it in there, starting the party with the first burst of sperm. Up till that moment the water was clear, just after main lights out with only fuge light bleeding over to the tank. Few minutes later I see teal colored eggs coming from behind the rock where my blue nem was hiding, along with another burst of sperm from another hiding nem. So I hear they are hermaphrodites and that more than likely will do this again with them reversing rolls and maybe the others will join in.

Cool stuff. Sounds like your aquarium is doing well.

I didnt think nems multiplied that way. I thought they needed to split?

They can multiply either way. Splitting is more common in our tanks, but spawning is more common in the ocean.
