Miniatus Grouper Question

What is the smallest fish size that a around full grown 1 foot or so miniatus grouper won't bother eating? I'm planning for my 250 tank and was curious cause my lfs has a beautiful 7 to 8in one

It will eat something 3/4s its own size.

Wrasses would be in trouble, unless they're the biggest Halichoeres, bird, or Thalassoma.

Eels, tangs, lions, full-size angels, triggers, etc would be better
