I've seen mixed results on what tank size would be considered the minimum for 1 OSFF, would a 20g (24x14.2x14.2) be good for 1? Or would a 30 be better? Thanks

Ive seen them in a 40 breeder, but know that they are nearly impossible to feed unless your regularly supplying them with acros

there have been some people experiementing with them eating masstick but idk how successful that ever was.

Even if they're trained to eat frozen? I know LA sells singles/pairs on DD that are trained to take frozen mysis

Theres a thread on here where a guy was able to train them on it with long term success. Might try search for what worked for him.

Deff an 'EXPERT' level fish thats gonna need a lot of attention. I might give them a go one day...

I’ve heard a story about how someone froze mysis to a rock then put it in the tank so the mysis would be attached

I don’t know if I just got lucky or what, but I’ve had a trio for about 6 months that required no special training and have eaten Masstick since the day I got them. I ordered them online and got 3 as I was hopeful that 2 or at least one would survive. Low and behold they are all doing great. They quickly added Panta Rhei Polyp and Panta Rhei Sponge to their diets and now eat anything they can fit in their tiny little tube mouths. I do have a few SPS frags and mini colonies that they peck at, but definitely not a primary source of food for them. I got them from reefbeauties.com. I would say at least a 30 gallon for 1. I have 3 in my 150.
