I figure it's time to start this build thread. I've been working on this since the beginning off the year when I started tearing my floors out. With the floors the planter had to go also.

I've decided to put a custom tank in place of the planter. The skylight was removed by one of the previous owners. Here are a few pictures of some before and after of the current stand situation.

I'm not good at keeping up with these so we will see how this goes. In my next post I'll show the sump that's been running for about 4 or 5 months now in the basement.

So here is my water changing station I put together last year in anticipation of this build. I have a IM25 lagoon and 65 tub up and running so this was a nice addition instead of the 10g container I had set up with my RO.

My chemist wife decided to label the tanks for me when my daughter failed to make some signs. Wife uses the RO for various things

And here is the sump. It still needs work but I wanted to get some life going in this thing. I like sand beds with a variety of life. I added a few gulf live rocks, a bag of garf gunk and some sand from my 2 other established tanks. I've got the water flowing from one side to the other with a maxi jet. Not pictured or in these pictures is an old reef octopus 3000sss skimmer.

Not much to update. Tank is still about a month out. Will finally start installing flooring this weekend with some luck. Just leveling the floors has been a task that I don't want to do again.

Slowly moving along. Going to wait until friends get off of work to get this inside. Then its plumbing to the basement and figuring out lights. Been playing with some aquascape ideas but haven't come up with anything I really like at this point.

Here is one. Its full of coral from my other tanks now. I don't have any good pics yet. Still need the trim and canopy finished.
