Introduced my new Ac pyroferus (juvenile) yesterday. Despite a day in acclimatise box and released at night, first thing in morning the powder blue was very nasty. Ac pyr back in accli box. Will try again tomorrow but now add 2 mirrors to get powder blue occupied. If this works, how long would you let the mirror be there? 2 days? Even if it works I do not want to stress the powder blue unnecessary

Remove the mirror and let the new guy be in the acclimation box until the aggression decrease, use the mirror when you realese the new fish if you see the powder blue being a jerk again.

Give it a few more days in the acclimation box

Agreed, one day in an acclimation box is much too short. Wait until the new fish is completely ignored, that will take several days at least.
Then move the box to another place in the tank and wait again to confirm all aggression has subsided.

Also, you have a very small tank for the many big or large growing bossy fish you keep. Over time this will not end well.

Thanks guys for answer. You maybe misunderstood. I am not using the mirror when fish is in accli box. I will use it when I release the fish. The question is how long after that I should keep the mirror (after release) ?

Until it appears the aggressive fish calms down.
I've had to leave the mirror up for 7-8 days.

So far so good, the fish was let out yesterday, prior to that I set up the mirror. The powder blue doesnt bother the new fish, but only his own mirror image. Will try remove the mirror tomorow and see what happens. So far so good .

I tried a mirror once and my purple tang freaked out and hid behind a rock. He would peak out once in a while but wouldn't come out until I took the mirror down.

Never had this taken place. All of mine are bullies in the end haha.

I’d keep the mirrors in for about 24–48 hours if they’re working. Once the Powder Blue loses interest in them, I’d remove them to avoid unnecessary stress. Hopefully, this gives the new Acropora a better chance to settle in.

Nice. I will do it exactly that way because it's also stressful for the Powder Blue. So I will remove the mirror tomorrow. Then I have used the mirror for 48 hours, and then I will observe.
