Missed the results on Hanna Checkers. Restart or continue?

I'm sure some of you have done this before. On some of the checkers there's a wait period before getting the result. You put it down and do something else and by the time you remember to check the checker turned off already. To avoid wasting reagents you fill the other vial with tank water and just swap with the one with reagent when it ask for C2. I'm sure accuracy will be affected if it was hours in between but what if it's just a few minutes.

If it's only a few minutes you're usually good.

Yep. I've done that more than once. I figure if the result is approximately what I'd expect to see I'm good. If the results were way off then I'd retest just to be safe.

We all have done it. I now set timer on my phone to beep when Hanna's timer has elapsed.

Yea usually within 10 mins or less.

The results won't change. Go ahead and use the other vial for the C1 and reuse the missed vial for C2.

Press and hold allows the color to develop before shooting it with a beam.
