I think my aquarium has finally driven me insane. It has been up and running for approximately 4 months. I still have a lot of things on my items to buy list including about 30 lbs of live rock. I only have 2 fish however there should be more.. There should be 4 in all but somehow 2 fish including 1 bicolor angel have simply completely disappeared!!! I have an open top on my aquarium and I have to wonder if they committed harry carry? Is this common among open top tanks? I do have 2 cats as well...... I Any thoughts???

A cleanup crew can take care of a fish that wasted rather quick. I've had disappearances as well all of which I know for a fact they didnt jump and dogs got them because my living room is fenced off from them.

More information could help in a possibility of what could of occured. Like what 2 fish are the remaining fish. Tank size, parameters. And most would recommend not adding new live rock since most will tell you it will start a new cycle. I would go with dry rock if you feel you need more. The dry will become "live" in a short while.

I've had fish disappear overnight. My emerald crabs have quite the appetite.
