Missing nem

Okay so I have/had a 3 inch hatian anenome 29 gallon biocube hqi. On may 9 i turned my light on as normal but noticed my nem was gone I didnt think much of it at the time but its been about 2 weeks now. I have looked everywhere for it in rock, under rock, back of tank, sifted through sand it is nowhere. This makes no sense to me it was always open and happy looking. Nothing in my tank is off. Any suggestions as to where it might be or why i dissapeared? Is it possible it died ( everthing else in my tank looks good)?

Nems have a habit of losing their footing whilst moving around and getting sucked into power heads. That may have happened.

Also, if they do go on the move, they can bury their feet deep into a rock hole and shrink down to next to nothing. They can be really hard to find if they bury themselves deep into a crevice.
