Two days ago my orange tip BTA was looking deflated.. potentially beat up by the Clarkii that loves it a bit too hard. He was barely hanging onto the rock. I moved him to a different part of the rock and out of the flow and he did grab on. He made his way to the underside of a cave and seemed to be a bit better that night. This morning I cannot locate him. I've heard stories of dead anemones bombing tanks and I'm a bit paranoid... I have a 91g total system. I do have hermits, emeralds and nassarius snails... will they take care of him if he is in fact dead or am I potentially in trouble here?

This nuke the tank thing can happen but its rare. Big tank prob not.
"What, me worry?" as Alfred E Numan would say

I have a 16 year old anemone that disappeared for days once, when it was looking really poor. Came back out from wherever (in a 29 gal tank), and is still doing fine.

nems are a good indicator of excessive nitrates, IMO.

if I were you, I wouldnt worry much, or at all.
