Missing the “old” days

Was nostalgic tonight and went to Gallaghers in Waterloo like the club used to do when The Corner Reef was in Columbia. The place completely rebranded… no more candied bacon or wings. Sad… but they have great steaks and good selection of drinks.

They still have the bourbon barrel ale on tap.

They got a little too Boujee for me with the higher prices and discontinuation of their renowned wings. I’d been looking forward to the remodel for a couple of years and was disappointed looking at their menu and pricing. We’ve got plenty of steak house options this side of the river, but good for folks living over there.

Wasn’t impressed by what I got but the beer was good.
