After i finally nursed back that scoly back to life, after it has been receding, and not puffy for months. I had a lobo near it, and i didn’t realize how long their sweepers are woke up to it, killing my scoly ripping the skin off. I seperated them now. But i feel bad. Anything i need to do? Or would the scoly heal?

Sorry to hear that. Yes the lobos can send out long reaching mesentery filaments. Looks like just the edge? Video pretty blurry. Is that a nassarius getting in on the action? Should heal. I would watch for infection on the damaged flesh and maybe have iodine handy if needed. Might not be a bad idea to proactively give it an iodine dip.

My prized and favorite symphyllia…was in a frag stand for months…and I guess a clumsy turbo snail tried to clean it overnight and toppled it over.

It fell forward, and landed face down. Right on top of my Warpaint scoly. And the two of them attacked each other all night

Outcome - both took substantial damage.

I cleaned this up and blasted out these grooves and dipped in Coral Infection Elimination.

The symphyllia was not responsive and receded and died

The scoly did respond positively and healed

So, I would say don’t give up. Keep it clean and in good conditions and it’s possible to save
