Mitras lx7 coverage

I have a custom Tank arriving within the next month or so, 48Lx30Wx20H. I plan on making it a mixed reef but less towards sps more towards lps/softies/anemones. How many mitras's will i need and what layout would you suggest?

I’d suggest 2 of them, perpendicular to the length of the tank. That should give you plenty of coverage!

Good thing I have 2 of them then! Was hoping to avoid a 3rd or any filler lighting! Thanks!

Do you mean mounting from front to back? how high? my tank is 48x30x24high.

Bit of an old thread but I'm wondering if I'll need 3 for my 60" x 30" x 17" H shallow build? Same setup as the OP, just LPS, Softies and maybe a couple nems.
