So, i purchased these mushrooms a while back and they had fantastic color for the first couple months.
The ricordeas and yuma are doing fine, however the 4 on the right…
This is them now.
Levels are as follow:
Temp- 78
Salinity- 1.026
Ph- 8
Alk- 9.6
Calcium- 440
Magn- 1280
Nitrate- 15ppm
Phos- .03
Other than the mushrooms the other corals have been a mixed bag. Ive got anacropora that has actually grown maybe a 1/4 inch since august, encrusting montis that have doubled or tripled since august. Ive got a chalice, toadstool, bowerbanki, and gorgonians that are healthy but have shown little growth. And ive killed 2 branching montis, my gsp has signs of growth but the polyps are almost never out, and this guy ive had in my tank for months but has been retracting its polyps recently.
Also have this montipora sp. that is losing color and browning out
And its right next to these two encrusting monti that doing great.
Tank is a 75 gallon, 29 gallon sump with fuge and healthy pod population. Reef octopus 110s skimmer. Lighting is 2 ai primes with a reefcrest from quantareef.
Flow in the tank is a jebao scp90 gyre(running at 30% random), and 2 aqueon 1250 circulation pumps on timers(each on for 15 minute intervals, always just one on).
Using a 5 stage rodi. Biweekly 25% waterchanges using reef crystals.
Livestock:
1 dusky wrasse
1 osc. Clown
1 yellowhead wrasse
1 longnose hawkfish
1 snowflake eel
1 coral beauty angel whom i watch like a hawk. Currently well behaved.
the tank has been running since june. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated!
