Working on a fish list for my peaceful 150, and wondering if you can mix cardinal fish types….
In particular can you mix say 3 red cardinals with 3 bengai?

I don't know about the reds but my PJs killed my banggais
That’s a good hint, every thing else I read people had those two species living together,,, must have been new with no violence yet

My PJs are just psychos, they are a mated pair and the male routinely carries eggs but they hate each other otherwise. They post up on opposite sides of the tank most of the time. They also go after my molly miller and six line wrasse.

That’s next level, I used to have a trio ( wrasse killed them off one at a time)
They were the most peaceful
Dumb fish ever, loved it

Anyone have experience with the red cardinal fish?
