Mixing LED brands and mounting

I have a Red Sea S1000 G2 that is 83"x27"x26". It came with 4 Red Sea LED160s. I'm not a huge fan of the look of the spectrum they produce and I also worry that they won't provide the coverage I need for my SPS.

I've been playing around with the idea of getting some new lights, but also keeping the old ones. It's just something that is floating around in my brain and I am trying to decide if it's a good idea or not. My initial thought is maybe doubling up the Red Seas front to back and putting something else (maybe radions) around them.

So if we were looking at the tank from the top, lets say X's are LED160s. My Current setup is four across.

Lets make radions |'s. I was thinking doing something like this.

| X | X |

So that would be 3 radions mounted with the long way front to back and a pair of LED160s in between them. It would be a whole lot of $$ in lighting. The coverage would be good. I think the radions would smooth out the spectrum. Is there a way to mount all of that without a hood that wouldn't look terrible? Is it just a bad idea?

If you figure out the mounting, I'd go with led bars instead of the radios as add-ons. It's cheaper and more effective imo.

If I’m honest, why not look at the AI Blades instead? I got the 4 foot blades over my 5 foot S-700 (Red Sea) and they’re pushing 5-600 at the very top (almost the surface) of my tank. Also I get the perfect coverage :)
