Hey everybody!
Wondering if it's ok to house a blood red fire shrimp/ Pederson cleaner shrimp,
In the same tank as a goby and pistol shrimp pair.
Tank is 36*18*16.
Thanks.
Paul.

Anyone?
Trying to plan cleanup crew for my tank build.
Thanks.
Paul.
Wow i really want to get a pederson shrimp, as long as u have some natural dividers they are going to be good, but keep in mind that there are chances for one of them to get eaten after molting, most likely the pederson shrimp bc it is clearly the weaker one

I have a skunk cleaner and a blood red Scarlett cleaner. They co exist fine. The skunk is a master of killing and eating overturned snails and maybe that is why he is much larger than the blood red now even though they were the same size initially. The Scarlett is also much more cryptic. Only slightly leaves caves when food goes into the tank. The skunk is always out and about.

I got a skunk and pistol in a 35 gallon. I think you'll be fine as long as the fire shrimp stays out of the pistols den... but my skunk is really young and the pistol is really dumb. (he loves to dump sand he removes from his den back into his den through a hole right beside his exit)
The gobi should hopefully keep the pistol safe from the shrimp if it gets bloodthirsty

i cant think

It seems people are confusing the Skunk cleaner shrimp for an anemone shrimp, these two inverts are completely different because one is a Periclimens shrimp and the skunk cleaner is a Lysmata shrimp. These two shrimp from what I’ve read should co-exist just fine however as said above they were weak after a molt. Also skunks get MUCH bigger than the Anemone shrimp (I prefer Periclimens shrimp for nanos over Lysmata’s).
