Setting up a 120G mixing station and 30g kalk storage/mixer in the laundry room of our new house.

It is on the same level as my tank. Mixing station will be elevated high enough to place 5g bucket under for filling

I want to run a 1/4” RO line from the mixing station, thru the basement/crawlspace, to the sump for a gravity ATO with a float switch.

In my head this will work fine. Thoughts?

At the same time run a second 1/4” line from my kalk storage to a dosing pump located in my stand.

Also sound reasonable?

Thanks
Ken

Welcome to the gravity ATO club starting to think I was the only one….as long as freshwater tank is higher then your float valve it will work don’t forget to place shut off switches right above your sump for maintenance I also use a 2nd one where my tubing connects to the reservoir

As for your kalk depends on the distance and specs of your dosing pump but ultimately will work my only concern would be buildup/cloging

Hopefully have the mixing station operational this weekend. need to get my 300g filled!
Two boxes of Fritz RPM salt ready to go.

Going to run the 1/4" lines at a later date. for now its buckets and getting my fish/rock/corals out of the horse troughs they have been living in.

Just purchased and moved into our dream house 2 weeks ago, the back half of the house was built in 1759, front half 1890, and there are a lot of projects..
