i mixed up a fresh batch of salt water yesterday afternoon I couldn't get to the water change last night and tonight it's cloudy and it look like there are particulates in it. It was fine when I looked at it last night. It was being aerated and was uncovered for about 12 of the 24-36 hours. "Baby woke up crying and I left the top off"

Should I dump it and start fresh or am I ok to use it?

Also dealing with a slight outbreak of cyano and hair algea hence the water change. I was on vacation for a week and came back to this. I think my mom used a little to much oyster feast or it could be just that the tank is still new. Carbon also hadn't been changed in a month.

Just spent the last hour picking out the few patches of hair and changing carbon.

I won't do the water change till I get an answer tonight but will need to make new RODI water overnight if everyone thinks I should dump it.

I'd try running a pump in it to see if clears up

I would err on the side of caution and not use the water and make a new batch.

It will most likely settle and be fine. Those particles are normal in newly mixed ASW. Turn off the pump and see if it clears.
