So what I hear you both saying is it's not easy being married to a psychologist. And how does that make you feel?
For me pros outweigh the cons. But, with any person you learn and predict their behavior over time. So now i know what battles i can win and the others, well i just wave a white flag.

77 pages, lol!

You must always remember, a psychologist is professionally trained to take anything you say and turn it into a question. For example:

Me: "I really don't like cleaning leaves, can you help?"
Wife: "What is it about cleaning the leaves that you don't like?"
Me: "The fact that they are back 20 minutes later"
Wife: "That sounds frustrating." <Walks away>
Me: <Outside cleaning leaves alone...>

Lol no I think there's an element of hilarity with what this thread became vs its initial intent

That said, she is a pediatric psychologist and it is immensely helpful when you have an extremely intelligent 2 year old :)

My wife is a pharmacist so she's always "prescribing" me and is certain my daughter and I always have ebolaids. "Babe, I sneezed last week once and I just cleared my throat." THROAT TYPHOIDPOLIO CANCER.

Cancer runs in the family but a little extra jumping to conclusions. WebMD style.

Hypochondriac.

Mines clinical.
Yup, mine too. Private practice or hospital? Mine works in a hospital, apparently she hates money.

LOL! With or without the aid of WebMD?

Mine also drops hints to let me know she wants something done. Like, the house is dusty, theres a lot of leaves out in the yard, wheres that pan? Oh its dirty.
A day later she will say, why didnt you dust, rake the yard, and wash the dishes?? Whaaaat?

"Oh man, I had to pee really bad"

OMG Ghonisyphiherpilaids!

Both!

I literally just laughed out loud.
Haha this is the life I live! My daughter gets check ups every 40 seconds. The wallet hates me but the doctor loves me. 1/10 times that Kristen was CERTAIN our daughter had an ear infection for example and was likely to spontaneously combust, did she actually have an ear infection. Actually, the time she had it was the time we had no idea and didn't suspect it.
