@Cleo642 I got my light in from 21usaled. nice par30 full spectrum with UV and 425 and 445nm blues and a built in fan. vase will be wet this week. but I decided to simply the setup on this one. next time im going to use a regular fish bowl and ill go above and beyond with that.
Can't wait to see it all together.

yeah they have heaters that go under the tank and they have heaters that go in the tank. im not sure which one I will go with. gotta make a run to town sometime in the next few days and see what I can find.

I remember seeing some tiny betta tank heaters once, for life fish bowls, idk if that still exists though.
There's a 5w heater. The only problem is they aren't adjustable. So a controller would be a must.

yeah I wont be doing a controller for a 1 gallon tank lol but ive got some options. im sure I can find a small adjustable heater. probably need around 15-25watts. I keep my house at 68 so it would need to be able to maintain a temp difference of 10 degrees.

Here's a topic that hasn't been discussed on this thread.....PB&J Sandwiches!

Did you know that the proper way to make a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich is to first spread the jelly with a clean knife. After you are done spreading the jelly, using the same knife, you spread the peanut butter. You never want to spread the peanut butter first because it will contaminate the sugar rich jelly with molds and bacteria in the peanut butter causing the jelly to spoil before it's time.

And without question, it shall be strawberry!

I didn't know they made any other jelly besides grape.

November 9th.

I rub the jelly on the peanut butter until it's all mixed together

I didn't know that....however that date of November 9th is in dispute. I did find some reference to November 9th, but I also found that the day of celebration is the first Saturday after November 9th. However, I also found that April 2 is NATIONAL Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. In addition I found these days are also observed for Peanut Butter only:

January 24 - National Peanut Butter Day
March 1 - National Peanut Butter Lover's Day
November - National Peanut Butter Lover's Month

It is obvious, that we as Americans, have way too much time on our hands to come up with specific days to celebrate all kinds of foods. (A second example of too much time is this thread!) In the process of looking up these dates, I was very surprised at every food having it's own day. You think of a food, and it most likely has a day of celebration. On that note, for those of us who make their own DIY two part, National Bicarbonate of Soda Day (Baking Soda) is quickly approaching on December 30th (I kid you not), and I'm planning the party now.....Who's coming? I'll be serving PB&J sandwiches. :D

But seriously though... I live in the woods basically. My one neighbor just put up a fence to prevent my other neighbors leaves from coming into his yard. Now the other neighbor is hiring a lawyer because the fence goes past the front of their house. And they want me to sign the letter that I'm offended by the fence too.
