My brother in law was on his shrimp boat once and the boat got struck by lightening. I bought a lottery ticket and asked him to scratch it but, unfortunately, didn't win anything. :(

I'd like to know what they took in for this one point something billion dollar lottery.....4, 5, 6 billion. Does anyone know that number? If only people fully understood odds.....you'd buy your one ticket and be happy. It's false hope!

Now who were the winners.....I've got to believe I'm a relative of one of the three.....the six degree thing. :cool: :D

The odds are always slime but if you never shoot you never be part of the slim odds.
I yet have to check mine # but it's nice to know that three ppl somewhere in Florida, Cali and Kentucky won't have to work anymore like me.

I was in Orlando. It's been dubbed the "Vacation from Hell" by my wife. Stayed at Royal Pacific. Our oldest ended up sick the whole time, eventually in the hospital for 2 days with acute pneumonia, she was the biggest HP fan and never set foot in the park. Ruined it for wife, she was stressed out the whole time and had to reschedule flights to get her back to college and everything (wife went with her). The rest of us had fun, weather sucked but we made it work. Good food, did all the rides we wanted to, even wet & wild one day (no lines!)

Never made it to WWC or any other LFS like I wanted to, in fact, I totally forgot about that by day 2 when the stress hit.

Bummer Floyd, sorry about all the troubles on what is supposed to be a relaxing experience. I'm glad you made the most of it.

Gotta make the best! On top of that I had what I have determined now to be most likely a gall bladder attack on 12/19 that was still messing with my system by the time we left on 1/2, doc couldn't find anything wrong with me before we left (liver, kidneys, pancreas, gall bladder, all OK on bloodwork and ultrasound) so I was on a diet of pretty much hot water and grapes for several days. Which SUCKED because I had all this food around me and couldn't touch it. Thankfully I was able to enjoy a few meals.

I'll say this: don't ever go to Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure without getting the express pass. I can't imagine what lines are like normally, we were there during off-season on {{relatively}} cold days and some lines were just plain ridiculous.

Most definitely. Spent way too much time in Orlando (both of my kids went and/or go to school there). Lines are a way of life at the most magical place on earth!!!
