Sunday was my daughters birthday. She turned two. She was very adamant that we get her a large Reese's ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. She even suggested that I eat it in 1/5 or larger servings. Needy little bugger.

No that's Minnesota's state bird, you can't have it. Or maybe you can, but you have to convince them all to go to LA.
Idk if I can be convinced that Minnesota would have half the mosquito issue we have here. With the freezing temperatures you get up there they must die off pretty easily for a good while. The heat, humidity, and swamps in this state it's a mosquito haven, especially in summer, I mean they get bad. I am sure the whole south gets bad. Maybe I am wrong, idk..... I don't do cold weather, snow or ice.

You would be surprised. From what I hear the skeeters are the worst in Alaska. There's no natural predator for them up north.

Idk Pete, maybe the summer, but the freezes must kill them off pretty quick. It doesn't stay warm long up there.
Probably just a few months out of the year. I have heard stories about them chasing moose into the lakes and rivers. They also say they're worse in Alaska than they are here. Being surrounded by millions of acres of rice fields they get pretty bad here.

I must say that Wisconsin in the summer was 10 worse than here in Indy and our winters are far more mild. So many more factors are at play!
