Lots of folks put black mollies or sailfin mollies in tanks.

I have 2 black 1 white been happy since moving in and have bred, just remeber to acclimatise them over night, I personally chanced doing it over 4 hours but I was lucky and uneducated.

As stated, Mollies yes. They are technically brackish fish with younger normally doing better in freshwater, and as they get older they appreciate higher salinity.

Guppies and swordtaims also will acclimate to salteater. But i dont think either are algea eaters like mollies. Im planning a few mollies in my sump.

A bit late to say it, but in case you are interested, Mollies can survive but it is recommended that you do not have anemones, and I have previously seen Guppies in salt water.
