Hey Randy,

Just recently I received an ICP test result and my molybdenum came back at .027 ppm. I know there are some test results from salts that show higher than NSW Mo levels. Should I be doing anything about this or just keep doing water changes?

Thanks!

I’m interested in this too. I think my elevated molybdenum has come from Nopox but I used to dose Molybdenum (years ago) and never saw any adverse effects.

Hello,

nopox is a very common source of molybdenum.

I would not worry if levels are below 100 µg/l, since molybdenum is not considered toxic.

Best,
Christoph
