Money spend on corals

I took my husband to RAP and he thought the prices were ridiculous... of course, that was until he saw a skull with Lepto growing on it. I came back from the bathroom to see him standing there holding a big bag with a huge smile on his face.
Not exactly the look I was going for, but I found room for it in my 25.

Lol has he started naming all the coral and fish yet? JK Jk. My wife does. At first she didnt like the idea of my reef. Really honestly doesnt mind if I spend a little money either. Long as I dont go over board. Which has been known to happen haha. Anyhow good stuff.
My wife takes care of the reef when in at work now. Doing a better job actually!

I took my wife and kids to Aquashella and Reefapalooza. She saw what those prices were and didn’t mind much. So I tell her those “real” prices when I get more fish or coral. I support paying my LFS’s a bit more, but she sees the “small ones” next to the others and does not even question it as she had an immersive price comparison those two days. Now, I am not getting home wreckers by any means, and if I do, it’s between 30-50 for the frag
I believe bringing her to the shows really helped with this aspect of the coral pricing. And the 2 she thought were pretty, I scooped em up without question, so that helps too.

We tried that ......

She really likes torches , hammers which were good .
But she also likes lobo , acan , donuts ,
All we put in our tank assuming the juv emperor would pick at them and knowing I’d have to set up something in our sump for them .
She was pretty upset but now she’s looking at very nice acros ....

Lol hahahaha never ever. If I payed 250. I tell her 125 always cut price in half. Saves me a headache in long run. Even tho I don't think she care as long as bills are taking care of and food in house and everything we need we got.

It seems like most of the people in here their wives or husband really don't care much as long as bills and mortgage on point. Not like I'm breaking my bank or anything in this hobby but my wife just think a little frag shouldn't cost much sigh. I need to bring her to reefpalooza some day.

I never lie I have expensive hobby’s reef and scuba diving and don’t bring home as much but she loves me so it’s all good! Tanks still new about 5 months so nothing expensive yet but I have my eye on a few pricey hammers for once tank hits a year+ I’ll add one or two.
