Has anyone seen one of these before? I was in my LFS and my son (it always my son who spots the weird stuff lol) saw this little guy. I did some quick research but didn’t find much on them other than reef safe and peaceful, mostly eating brine and mysis shrimp. He’s definitely cool looking. I decided to take him home (ok, so my son decided to make me take it home) and he’s hanging out now. He blends in with the rock work well. Anyone else have one of these?

Definitely neat looking. The tank picture is stellar. Very nice looking corals.

Glad your son is a part of your hobby.

AKA Saron shrimp. Not known to be reef safe, but I have personally never had one. Google sarin shrimp and you might find more info

I tried that also. Didn’t find much either.

I see not reef safe but it doesn’t give a reason. Then I see other sites that say it is generally safe with corals and inverts unless it’s underfed. Guess that’s why.

Well it’s in there now. Guess we will find out lol.
