Monti and Kessil a150 acclimation

I'm still rather new to LEDs for lighting. I've always went with the tried and true usage of T5s. But loved the look and shimmer with LEDs. So I decided to purchase a Kessil A150 to start. The montis I bought were from a Ecotech Radion lit tank. The difference is that Kessil is closer to the water than the LFS's Radions were, mainly because of the gooseneck. Do I still need to acclimate them at all to the light?

If I were you I would start the frag or Monti near the sand bed n u can observe its reaction from there I would normally raise or lower the lights but you wouldn't want to disturb your other corals start it near the sand also remember strongest par is directly under the light u can place a frag high up but further out and light par won't be as strong idk if that makes sense or if u can picture what I mean

I can't raise or lower the light and I can't dim it, not a big deal. The biggest difference between the sand and where it's currently placed and the sand bed is 5 inches.

How is the Monti reaction ? Polyp extension ?

It had some earlier. I moved it around 2" downward. I didn't see any since then. But the light is off as of now. So... I'll check it tomorrow, I suppose.

Dont under estimate the power of those lights they are really strong if it remains closed I say you raise it give it about 2hrs after ur lights cut on and then decide wether to move it or not highter
