Hey folks. New to sps and bought this big frag from a local reefer. The drag looks good except for these brown spots. Maybe 4-5 of them with what looks like brown algae coming out of some points. I tired getting some photos. What can I do to fix it? Something to eat it? Scrape it?

Water is perfect. Lighting is 2 hd primes in a 30l tank. The fuzz was there when I put it in the tank.

Algae. Looks like green hair algae, growing either on a dead spot or at the edge of the new growth. Remove it and use a soft tooth brush to scrub off the reset. Keep water quality in check.

should the sliming that occurs be expected since its going to get ticked? will the dead spots grow back or always be black/brown?
