Monti caps... lets see some pics...

i am looking to choose three scrolling type corals for my tank (monti caps or corals similar). i know i see alot of the basic pinkish/redish one and purple caps. i am hoping to find something with a couple of colors on them, im not sure what exsists out there. just something a lil different than the usual ones........

so show me your caps or similars !!!!!!

Hey Amanda - It is a Tyree Purple Polyp Montipora Capricornis. I do not think the name went any further than that. Its a nice piece and grows like a weed for me.
About 5 months ago it was a 1/2" X 1/2" frag and I have fragged it ten times or more.

Amanda, it's called the Atlantis Strawberry Patch Cap. Has very bright red polyps in a field of green.

Mine don't have the spectacular colors of some of these others, but I love their shape.

Obviously, so does my coral goby (just for fun)

scopus- very nice. i like the mixing of the colors... i think i will put mine in close proximity so they will mix it up. cute lil goby perched in there :)

Thanks Amanda. Saw the mixing done on another forum, and tried to duplicate; my colors weren't quite as contrasting, so its a little harder to notice. Love the gobies, they're a new addition.
