Monti caps questions

1. Will a single monti cap frag typically, given enough time, form multiple layers like this or were multiple frags set up above eachother to make this? Basically is it one frag spreading or multiple intentionally placed to get this look.

2. In the green monti pic, the corals seem to be extending downwards, was this simply achieved by gluing the frags on an angle with the scape angled that way too?

Looks like natural growth from a single coral to me

1. One frag can form multiple layers
2. In my experience, the lighting being provided changes the directional growth.
